He's a Mad-Max type survivor who must help a half-woman, half robot hybrid, who is carrying a cure to a life threatening plague, to return home safely. Hot on her trail is baddie Fender Tremolo, who has plans to exterminate her. With the hybrid out of the way- anarchy would be unleashed upon the world through the plague - with Tremolo ready to take over as Earth's ruler. Well, not if Gibson has anything to say about it! By the way, if you find the characters names strange - it's because both lead characters are named after equipment and techniques associated with electric guitars.

DANGEROUS LIAISONS
This adaptation of Les Liaisons Dangereuses, the novel written by French author Choderlos de Laclos, follows the scheming ploys of the exquisite Marquise de Merteuil (Close), who enlists her former lover, the Vicomte de Valmont (Malkovich) in exacting revenge on another former lover for jilting her to marry a virgin. Valmont's challenge is to deflower the intended bride, the beautiful Cecile de Volanges (Uma Thurman). However, Merteuil soon discovers that he has other plans of his own. Valmont's real target is someone else – a beautiful married woman, Madame de Tourvel (Pfeiffer), who believes strongly in the sanctity of marriage. The eventual results of this torrid arrangement and manipulation - self-destruction.

Jonathan Fisher (Reeve) is a magazine writer in danger of losing his job.
