FEARLESS
When you've narrowly escaped death, what does the rest of your life mean? That's the question confronting Max Klein (Bridges) in this drama from Peter Weir. Soon, his only connection is with a fellow survivor who blames herself for losing her child in the crash.

Troubled Wilma subsequently attempts suicide and is sent to a mental institution, while Bud impregnates a freewheeling waitress. Despite the separation, they still carry a torch for one another, but circumstances preclude their getting together.

THE 3 WORLDS OF GULLIVER
Kerwin Mathews, star of Seventh Voyage of Sinbad, headlines this action classic as Jonathan Swift's globetrotting adventurer Lemuel Gulliver. The first "world" is Lilliput, populated with teeny-tiny people who are about to go to war. Gulliver's second stop is Brobdignag, where our hero is surrounded by giants. The third world is England, where Gulliver is thrown into a lunatic asylum when he tries to relate his astonishing adventures. The film features a whole host of special effects created by special effects wiz, Ray Harryhausen!

THE 51ST STATE
Directed by Ronny Yu, this frenetically paced film stars Samuel L. Jackson at his best. Elmo McElroy (Jackson), an American master chemist, heads to England in the hopes of scoring it big with a new drug he calls "The 51st State." But things don’t go as planned, and Elmo soon gets stuck in Liverpool dodging assassins and sidestepping skinheads. He is then forced to form an unlikely partnership with small-time hood Felix DeSouza (Carlyle), so as to complete his $20 million drug deal before anyone can kill him off.

THE ASSIGNMENT
Carlos Sanchez is the most notorious terrorist in the world. At first, Deason is reluctant to send his men to do this seemingly insignificant job. But then it turns out that this bridge serves a greater function than expected. It's the only connecting bridge between Honduras and Nicaragua, in a 30 mile area. Therefore, it's important to the Contras, the local drug lords, and the Sandinistas. Suddenly, it occurs to Deason that there's something a little more at stake here than performing an act of goodwill for the local villagers. The Guardsmen soon find themselves caught in the crossfire of a guerrilla war.
