AGAINST THE WALL
This tough-as-nails reenactment of the 1971 Attica prison riots is jam-packed with political and sociological implications. Refreshingly, none of the characters in the film – the prisoners, the guards and the high-profile mediators, are rendered in strictly good-guy or bad-guy terms by screenwriter, Ron Hutchinson. Anyone old enough to have witnessed the original live TV coverage of the riot, however, will be able to discern who was truly responsible for its tragic outcome. While the 1971 TV-movie "Attica" was told from a journalist's point of view, this drama is filtered through the eyes of an idealistic young prison guard, Michael Smith.
Starring: Kyle Maclachlan, Samuel Jackson, Anne Heche

This film brings home the message that we can no longer afford to view global warming as a political issue – rather, it is the biggest moral challenge facing our world.

Henry invites Emperor Charles V of Spain to England to discuss their future. Meanwhile, Thomas Boleyn deftly positions his daughter, Anne, to seduce the king. Told of Charles’ plans to drive the French from Italy, Henry orders a new ship built in preparation for the war. After seeking Sir Thomas More’s advice on a pamphlet denouncing Martin Luther’s efforts to break from the Catholic Church, Henry orders him to oversee the burning of all of Luther’s works. Queen Katherine confides in Charles her fears that Henry may seek a divorce.

Having placed Princess Margaret in Charles Brandon’s care for her journey to marry the elderly King of Portugal, Henry explodes in anger at Martin Luther’s response to his pamphlet defending the Catholic Church. Yet, even as good news arrives of Charles V’s defeat of the French in Italy, Henry becomes increasingly obsessed with Anne Boleyn. Passion sparks between Brandon and Princess Margaret Tudor upon the ship bound for Lisbon, even as Henry continues to pursue the beautiful and elusive Anne Boleyn. Henry orders Wolsey to get him a divorce from Katherine.
THE TUDORS EP. 05
As he continues to woo Anne Boleyn, Henry formally accepts his son by Elizabeth Blount. Indignant at the news that Emperor Charles V has released the French king from his custody, Henry redoubles his efforts to have Wolsey get a favorable ruling on his divorce, even as Anne makes it clear that she has no intention of being his mistress. Meanwhile, en route from Portugal, Brandon asks Princess Margaret to be his bride.

Henry discovers that Elizabeth Blount, the young and beautiful lady-in-waiting to his Queen, Katherine of Aragon, is pregnant with his child, even as the Duke of Buckingham asserts his claim to the throne.

Henry loses a wrestling match to Francis, and Cardinal Wolsey barely manages to stop the angry monarch from walking away from the treaty. After learning that Spain’s King Charles V has been elected Holy Roman Emperor, Henry instructs Wolsey to begin making arrangements for an alliance that excludes the French, unaware that it may jeopardize the Cardinal’s plan to be elected Pope. After preparing his daughter, Mary, to entertain Henry, Sir Thomas Boleyn warns Wolsey of the assassination plot being hatched by Buckingham. But before Buckingham can execute his plan, he is arrested for treason and beheaded.

Passion sparks between Brandon and Princess Margaret Tudor upon the ship bound for Lisbon, even as Henry continues to pursue the beautiful and elusive Anne Boleyn. Henry orders Wolsey to get him a divorce from Katherine.
