THE TUDORS EP. 05
As he continues to woo Anne Boleyn, Henry formally accepts his son by Elizabeth Blount. Indignant at the news that Emperor Charles V has released the French king from his custody, Henry redoubles his efforts to have Wolsey get a favorable ruling on his divorce, even as Anne makes it clear that she has no intention of being his mistress. Meanwhile, en route from Portugal, Brandon asks Princess Margaret to be his bride. And as he plots to see that his daughter seduces Henry, Thomas Boleyn is offered an allowance in exchange for his friendship with Emperor Charles V.

THE TUDORS EP. 06
As Henry sends Wolsey to Paris with a new treaty, Anne looks to help her father and Norfolk by planting the seeds of doubt in the king’s mind about the cardinal’s loyalty. Further undermining Wolsey’s credibility, Queen Katherine shares her own concerns with Spain’s envoy, Mendoza, and asks him to get word to Charles V about the efforts to grant her husband a divorce. Meanwhile, as Katherine confronts Anne about her affair with Henry, news that the Pope has escaped imprisonment prompts Cromwell to suggest that Henry send a private envoy to Italy to request the divorce.
