BATTLESTAR GALACTICA MISSION 18
President Baltar and a newly created human police force are mere tools of the all-powerful Cylon Occupation Authority in New Caprica. But the planet’s oppressed residents cling to two frail hopes: that their resistance movement led by Tyrol and Anders will weaken the Cylons, and that Admiral Adama and his fleet will return to rescue them all. Kara Thrace has become a prisoner of the Cylon who is trying to win her heart while Ellen is sleeping with the Cylon Cavil to help secure the release of her husband Tigh. Meanwhile, Adama is planning a daring rescue to save the citizens of New Caprica but he may end up losing everything in the process. In response to the human resistance force's successful suicide bombing, the Cylons decide to arrest hundreds of suspected insurgents in a major crackdown, including Cally, Tyrol's wife. The Cylons also force President Baltar to sign the execution orders for 200 insurgents. On New Caprica, Leoben brings a special guest to visit Kara – a little girl named Kacey which he claims is Kara's daughter, a product of the Cylon's insidious fertility experiments. Meanwhile, on the Galactica, Adama dispatches a small team to meet up with Tigh’s resistance fighters on New Caprica. Adama then asks Lee and to lead the remainder of the civilian fleet deeper into space for their safety, while he and the Galactica will attempt to rescue those on New Caprica. Meanwhile Adama reinstates Sharon as an officer as she leads the rescue ground troops into New Caprcia.

BATTLESTAR GALACTICA MISSION 19
Sharon and Tyrol manage to stop the mass execution of the suspected insurgents of New Caprica at the eleventh hour. Meanwhile, the Cylons debate if they should nuke the entire colony and save their troubles once and for all. The rebels discover Ellen's betrayal while Kara comes to terms with her role as a mother. The Cylon D'Anna succumbs to a series of bizarre dreams that the precious human-Cylon baby, Hera, is still alive. The Galactica launches its dangerous rescue mission to New Caprica, leaving behind the Pegasus and the civilian fleet to go deeper into space for safety. Tigh poisons his wife Ellen for her betrayal as the insurgents on New Caprica and the Galactica jointly launch their rescue operations. But four powerful Cylon ships suddenly appear and it looks like all is lost for the humans. Suddenly, Lee and the Pegasus appears and turn the tide of the battle. In the meantime, the Cylon decides to nuke the entire planet through D'Anna. Only one man can stop her – Baltar.

BATTLESTAR GALACTICA MISSION 20
After escaping from New Caprica, a secret tribunal is formed by Tigh, Tyrol and Anders plus other humans to try and sentence the humans who collaborated with the Cylons on New Caprica. Only Tyrol can stop the madness. Meanwhile Roslin negotiates with Zarek on a power-sharing deal. The tribunal then tries Gaeta and finds him guilty – will they mistakenly execute their unknown ally? Baltar remains the prisoner of the Cylons as they constantly debate his fate. He is only kept alive because they believe he can lead them to Earth. On Galactica, the disillusioned Tigh and Kara stir up discontent among the crew and Adama has to take stringent measures to stem the discontent. As the Cylons and the humans race towards a nebula that can shed light on the path to Earth, a deadly virus strikes the Cylons and threatens to wipe them out. Only Baltar, the only human on board the Cylon fleet, can investigate the source of the virus.

BATTLESTAR GALACTICA MISSION 21
The Galactica's scout ships find a Cylon baseship in the Lion's Head nebula, adrift and helpless. Apollo and Athena lead a team into the ship to explore and find dead Cylons everywhere, killed by the mysterious virus. They bring back several survivors and the humans develop a vaccine for the virus. Meanwhile, in the Cylon fleet, Baltar is accused for betraying them by leading them to the virus and is tortured to obtain a confession. Wracked with pain, Baltar flees to the comfort of the Six in his mind, who might offer his only hope for salvation. Back on the Galactica, Apollo has a chilling brainstorm: if they maneuver the Galactica within close range of a Cylon resurrection ship and kill their Cylon prisoners, the infected prisoners will then download to new bodies, spreading the virus to the Cylon fleet in the process. The disease will then rage freely throughout Cylon civilization, eventually wiping out the entire race. Shocked, Helo argues that the act is morally wrong. Admiral Adama shares his doubts. Athena grieves at the thought of her people's demise but tells Helo that she must remain loyal to her human comrades. Roslin, her duty to safeguard the survival of humanity foremost in her mind, believes that the genocidal attack might be justified. But as she prepares to make her decision, it is humanity's collective soul rather than its survival that is at stake. Adama must confront his skeletons when Lt. Daniel "Bulldog" Novacek, a pilot believed killed years ago under Adama’s command escapes from Cylon custody and arrives on the Galactica. It turns out that Adama had sacrificed Bulldog to cover up the spying mission he was tasked to do. Bulldog learns the truth and wants revenge. Meanwhile, Kara discovers that the Cylons purposely let Bulldog escape - which means that they are tracking him to the human fleet!

BATTLESTAR GALACTICA MISSION 22
A boxing tournament helps the Galactica crew blow off steam, but it drags old grudges into the light – including Apollo and Starbuck’s hate-love relationship. Adama himself challenges Tyrol to a bout, goading the man to pull no punches until Tyrol unleashes a flurry of blows, leaving his commander bloodied. Adama seizes the moment to warn his crew that he accepts the rigors of war and will never again put humanity’s survival at risk by being too soft-hearted, as he did when he allowed so many of them to leave their posts and settle on New Caprica. When the fleet’s food supply becomes contaminated, Sharon discovers a planet teeming with edible algae – but it is surrounded by deadly radiation. Adama decides to send his pilots in Raptors to help the civilian ships jump through the radiation. Meanwhile, a man named Enzo confronts pilot Captain Louanne “Kat” Katraine about her secretive past while Baltar and D'Anna start asking if Baltar is one of the five human-form Cylons that are still undiscovered.

BATTLESTAR GALACTICA MISSION 23
The humans and Cylons both discover an ancient artifact that points the way to Earth and a standoff ensues. The Cylons go on board the Galactica for negotiations and there, Boomer tells Athena that her child is actually still alive. Gaeta then discovers that the planet’s sun is poised on the brink of a supernova - with enough fury to vaporize humans, Cylons and the entire solar system. On the algae planet, the Cylons prepare their assault on the Temple of the Five, where the Eye supposedly lies hidden. Blocking their way are Apollo and Anders who must defend the Temple long enough for Tyrol to find the Eye and escape to the Galactica. Meanwhile, on the Galactica, Athena resolves to infiltrate the Cylon fleet and rescue her daughter Hera. She persuades Helo to shoot her, allowing her to die and then resurrect in a new body aboard the Cylon resurrection ship.

BATTLESTAR GALACTICA MISSION 24
Imprisoned and facing charges of treason, former Gaius Baltar survives a suicide attempt – only to face extreme interrogation techniques by his captors aboard the Galactica. Meanwhile, Apollo and Starbuck must face up to their feelings to each other and the effect that it will have on their marriages. Helo suspects a doctor is murdering his patients aboard the Galactica and news of Baltar’s impending trial sparks unrest in the fleet. The doctor appears to be brilliant but Helo gets information that the doctor is a racist and discriminates against Sagittarons. Helo brings up the issue with Adama and Tigh but is stonewalled. Then Dualla, a Sagittaron, falls ill, and Helo must now find the truth or face the possibility that his friend might be killed by the doctor.

BATTLESTAR GALACTICA MISSION 25
It's been 49 days since the Cylons were last since and all seems peaceful. As Admiral Adama reflects on the life he’s lost, a tragedy unfolds as Tyrol and Cally get stuck on the wrong side on an airlock, with their air leaking away. Lee, Starbuck and Athena quickly fly a Raptor outside the ship to the airlock doors then blasts open the outer doors to quickly retrieve Tyrol and Cally from space. After an accident nearly kills Roslin, Tyrol demands safer working against conditions, pitting himself against Adama. Seeking better answers, Tyrol reads Baltar’s book and visits the imprisoned President. Despite himself, he ends up considering Baltar’s subversive ideas and making himself a the rallying point for a strike.

BATTLESTAR GALACTICA MISSION 26
Galactica’s top gun, Kara Thrace, finds herself on the edge of a nervous breakdown as she battles the emotional fallout from her captivity on New Caprica. On patrol with Lee, Kara sees a Cylon Raider and again dives toward the mandala shaped maelstrom. Lee follows, desperate to stop her, but Kara plunges straight into the turbulent heart of the storm. The aftermath of Kara Thrace’s Viper crash is a time of mourning for her husband and friends, but the business of the fleet grinds on despite their grief. As Baltar's trial approaches, Roslin refuses to let terrorism derail a fair trial for Baltar. She assigns him a new defense attorney Lampkin, who accompanied by his cat, coolly declares that he was born to handle this case. Admiral Adama reassigns Lee from the pilot squadron to lead Lampkin’s security detail.

BATTLESTAR GALACTICA MISSION 27
Baltar’s trial for treason begins. Adama sits on the judges’ tribunal, while his son, Lee, assists Romo on Baltar’s defense team. Then Racetrack returns from a scouting mission with the chilling news that a Cylon force is secretly pursuing the human fleet. As Adama, Tigh and Roslin confer about this crisis, Lee notices an apparent triviality: there’s something peculiar about the special tea that Roslin is drinking. Tigh, Anders, Tyrol and President Roslin's assistant Tory are all now hearing - or hallucinating - a strange song aboard the Galactica. Roslin discovers that she and Six, Athena and Hera share an identical dream vision. At Baltar's trial, the defense is teetering on the edge of defeat. To save his client, Romo Lampkin moves for a mistrial because Lee has heard his father - a judge - make biased statements against Baltar in private. Lee reluctantly takes the witness chair and makes a compelling speech on behalf of Baltar. The judges determine by a vote of three to two that Baltar cannot be considered guilty. The courtroom erupts into chaos. Roslin is disguised with the verdict, and her relationship with Adama is shaken when she learns that he voted to release Baltar. As the Galactica arrives at the Ionian Nebula and scans this waystation on the route to Earth, the entire fleet abruptly loses power. In the darkness and confusion that follow, Tigh, Tyrol, Tory and Anders are nearly overcome by the insistent song, and they each follow it to an obscure workout room on the Galactica. When they lock eyes with each other, they guess the obvious but horrifying explanation for the mental summons that they've obeyed: they must all be Cylons. At that moment, a massive Cylon armada bursts onto the scene. Lee Amada joins his old Viper crew and flies out in defense of the Galactica. In the light of the mysterious nebula, to his shock, Kara Thrace appears in a Viper next to him. Seemingly back from the dead, she has come bearing a message of cosmic importance.
