Tom Welles (Cage) is a private eye on the biggest case of his life when he is hired by a widow who finds a reel of 8mm film in her dead husband's safe. The film appears to be a snuff movie but the girl in it really looks like she was murdered. The widow wants Tom to get to the bottom of the case and find out what really happened to the girl and what was her husband's involvement in the film. Tom follows the trail and soon discovers that the secrets he uncovers may cost him his very life.

A HISTORY OF VIOLENCE
A small-town diner owner's life is shattered by the arrival of shadowy thugs who claim he is part of their past. THE SOPRANOS 27: MR. RUGGERIO'S NEIGHBORHOOD
Tony and his family are under 24-hour surveillance by the Feds. Intensifying its effort to build a RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act) case against the gangster, the FBI assembles a special task force. After a judge signs a warrant granting a wiretap in Tony's home, the federal agents must find a way to gain entry into the Soprano's basement.
THE SOPRANOS 28: PROSHAI, LIVUSHKA
Tony is concerned that his mother will rat him out to the Feds when she dies. Ignoring Livia's wish not to have a funeral, Janice arrives from Seattle to arrange for one with all the trimmings. Meanwhile, Meadow's college boyfriend Noah — a film buff of Jewish/African-American heritage — learns that James Cagney in The Public Enemy has got nothing on Tony Soprano.
THE SOPRANOS 29: FORTUNATE SON
Finally Christopher is a made man, in charge of Paulie's football action. After taking reckless bets and mismanaging the point spread, Christopher is $2,000 short of what he owes Paulie for the week. In order to make up the difference – plus the extra two thousand Paulie tacks on as a late fee – Christopher robs the box office during a benefit concert at Rutgers University, using Jackie Aprile Jr. as his getaway driver.
THE SOPRANOS 30: EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH
Tony has not experienced a panic attack since Livia's death, and he feels he's nearing recovery. Dr. Melfi suggests Carmela attend Tony's sessions to provide her perspective on his progress. Leaving her office one evening, Dr. Melfi is brutally raped in a stairwell by a young man. Although Dr. Melfi can positively identify the perpetrator, the police release him because of a loophole. Though she fantasizes about using Tony to get revenge on her attacker, Melfi refuses to tell Tony about the rape.
THE SOPRANOS 31: ANOTHER TOOTHPICK
Carmela goes to her first therapy session with Tony and Dr. Melfi. When Melfi asks Carmela whether she's frustrated at being unable to help with Tony's attacks, Carmela suggests that Tony's condition may be the result of guilt over his ongoing infidelity. Meanwhile, Tony is still at odds with Meadow who can barely tolerate being in the same room with her father, but she unknowingly does him a favor by taking the bugged lamp from the basement, thereby rendering the FBI's wiretap useless.
THE WHITE COUNTESS
Russian countess Sofia Belinskya (Richardson) and her family have lost their state and fortune as a result of the Revolution. Living in exile in Shanghai with her daughter, the countess works as a hostess and companion lady in a dance club where she entertains all kinds of men, dancing and chatting with them. There, she meets a blind American diplomat, Todd Jackson (Fiennes), a nice kind man with whom she begins a friendship that could turn into love anytime. Years later, Jackson sets up a glamorous club, called The White Countess, taking Sofia with him to work there as a companion lady. It is then that the Japanese invasion takes place and threatens to shake their dreams.

THE WOOD
Roland's pre-wedding jitters cause him to flee the aisle and run off to his childhood playground – the Wood in Inglewood California. He meets two of his friends Mike and Slim, and they begin recalling their teenage days growing up in the 1980s.

A New Orleans cop Wes Block (Eastwood) roams the seedy nocturnal underworld in search of a brutal serial rapist and killer. Then he discovers that the victims are also known to him, and it seems that there is a lot more than meets the eye.

UNITED 93
Four commercial planes were hijacked during the terrorist attacks of September 11. Three of them were successfully used by the terrorists to crash into strategic building targets. This is the story of the fourth and last plane to take off, United Airlines Flight 93, where the passengers fought back and managed to stop the terrorists from using the plane as a weapon at the cost of their lives.

WHEN A STRANGER CALLS
A teenage girl is on a routine babysitting of two kids when she starts getting strange calls. At first, she shrugs them off as jokes, but when she realizes that the caller is dead serious with his threats, she alerts the police for help to trace the call. That's when she gets a nasty shock — the calls are from someone within the house!

YOU, ME AND DUPREE
For Carl (Dillon) and Molly Peterson, (Hudson) the great life of newlyweds has just begun. Everything looks great until Carl's buddy and best-man, Dupree (Wilson), turns up for the wedding and gets fired for it. Homeless and jobless, Carl takes Dupree in for a few days, but the lazy bloke turns his stay into what seems like an eternity. Will Carl ask his friend to go?
